Hello, A HEPA filter will do a better job on the ultrafines and the prefilter for the larger particle matter. If it is dropping to the ground, it may be too heavy of a particle to be airborne long enough to go into a filter. Bag filters are used for larger particles. The HEPA will help substantially with the particles in the air.
