Hello, because of the date purchased, your unit most likely is a molded filter. In order to be sure, there are a few questions to verify which configuration you have.
1. Does your HEPA just sit in the unit? If yes, then it is a molded configuration.
If no, and you have to twist it to get it in and out, then it is an easy twist.
2. Can you look through your HEPA like a tunnel when it is out of the unit? If yes, then it is a molded configuration.
If no, and youhave a cap on one end, then it is an easy twist.
Yes, this is the correct filter for a 2500. Just confirm if you have a molded or easy twist to ensure it will fit your 2500.
