Hello, although this unit has a large bed of quality carbon, understanding if it will remove cannabis odor will depend on a number of factors such as but not limited to:
However, the recommended number of air changes for odor removal can be as high as 10 air changes an hour. This machine is about 265 CFM delivered on high. It is important to look for delivered CFM and not fan CFM. Meaning the room should be around 200 sq ft or less with an 8 foot ceiling.
Furthermore, it is often better to run a unit on medium instead of high also to have a longer dwell time to remove more contaminants per a pass. With this being said, the ACH drop to about 5 when running on medium.
