Hello,
If you wanna switch from the C 700 configuration to the German 18 pounds of carbon, you can do so. However, you do need to trade out the other filter that is inside of the unit too. The C700 contains pre-filter, 26 pounds activate a carbon, and a HEPA barrier. You want to change it out for the G 700 configuration which would be the pre-filter, 18 pounds of German carbon, medical grade HEPA instead of a barrier.
Most affordable way to do something like this is by ordering the G 700 bundle.

If you’d like the higher grade HEPA called a SuperHEPA, it would be option 7
