Hello, it depends the concentration and the speed at which the contaminants are entering the space for how quickly a filter will be consumed. Amaircare's expected life on a commercial HEPA is estimated at 2 years. Typically, in a home it is more like 3-5 years.
Furthermore, if you want to focus on the odor side of the mold too, you may want to consider the 675 with HEPA and VOC found here. This will not only have the same excellent particulate filtration of the 675 HEPA unit but also an added filter for VOC, chemical, and gases filtration.
You will also want to make sure air flow is good in the basement and humidity is controlled. Poor air flow will not allow the contaminated air to reach the purifier and high humidity with 1. increase the risk of mold and 2. may reduce the life of the filters.
